This savoury hummus satisfies the urge to dip! Equally delicious on chips, pita, or celery sticks when you’re really behaving well 😉


3 cups of dried chickpeas
1/2 cup tahini
1 cup ice water
juice of 1 lemon
3 tsp cumin
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika
3 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbs avocado oil

1 tsp of baking soda for cooking chick peas


Soak chickpeas over night and rinse well

Place chickpeas in pot and fill with enough water to cover 1” about chickpeas

Add baking soda and bring to a boil. cook covered until soft, let cool

Add chickpeas, tahini lemon juice, oil, apple cider vinegar, and spices to food processor, or blender.

Start blending scrap sides as needed, slowly add water until desired thickness is acquired.
